Funding
The PoP Lab was formally instituted in the fall of 2011 owing to a generous grant of $15,620 from the UIUC Campus Research Board. This paid for our mobile computing equipment and for the lab’s first research assistants. The following year, the philosophy department ceded to the lap additional equipment and research funds and secured for the lab a space in English 341. We are currently operating on seed money from the Department of Philosophy and seeking funding from sources outside the university.
